- Turn on AutoSave if you save to OneDrive — and learn the keyboard shortcut to undo aggressive autosaves (Ctrl+Z still works).
- Set the default save location to where your team actually keeps files.
- Disable telemetry if your IT policy allows.
- Pin only the macros you use. The Quick Access Toolbar gets cluttered fast.
